2 SUSPECTS TRICKED SENIOR WOMAN TO SMUGGLE DRUGS ON UMRAH VISA

Two suspects who tricked senior woman to smuggle drugs on Umrah visa arrested, The suspects convinced an old woman that she can perform free Umrah on the expense of a rich Saudi businessman and used her in smuggle drugs in her bag.

The victim senior woman named Saadia Hammad is of 75 years and she was arrested upon arrival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for carrying drugs and referred to interrogation and her drugs were seized. Two suspects who tricked the victim escaped from the place after they heard the news of her arrest, Later Egyptian authorities arrested the 2 suspects.

- Upon interrogation, investigators revealed that 3 suspects tricked the victim senior woman, Abdallah Mohamed Al Manzalawy, his sister and her husband, both sister and husband were arrested.

- The 3 suspects offered free Umrah for 10 women including the victim Saadia Hammad and Fawzia Mohamed from Darin village, Sadia Hammad was traveled on March 20.

- According to the sister, her brother asked her and her husband to tell the senior woman and AbdelKader that they will perform free Umrah and ask to carry a bag to deliver it to Saudi businessman at the airport upon arrival in Saudi, The bag contained drugs.

- The sister denied that she knew about the drugs and her husband confirmed his wife's testimony and also denied knowing about the drugs smuggle in the bag. The surveillance camera footage was posted on the owner of a tourism company Facebook page.

- Hundreds of people in Egypt staged a protest at the house of Saadia Hammad demanding arrest of the real culprits and the release of her, who was arrested at Saudi airport on charges of drug smuggling.

A draft law of foreign remittance tax has approved by a parliamentary committee in Kuwait by ignoring the warnings of the central bank in the country.

- The financial and economic affairs committee voted 4 to 1 in favor of the draft law, which can be only become regular once it is approved by the wider National Assembly and accepted by the government. However the draft law is only applicable for expats not on citizens.

- According to the bill, expats would be taxed on the money sending out of the country instead of that normal commissions and charges by banks and exchange houses on the amount of money sending. However transactions related to investment protection would not be taxed.

- Transfers up to 99 Kuwait Dinars would be taxed at 1%, while transfers of 100-299 Kuwait Dinars at 2% and the transfers of 300-499 Kuwait Dinars will be taxed 3% and the 500 Kuwait Dinars or above will be taxed at the rate of 5%.

- The tax would be collected by central bank and paid to the finance ministry, Those who have breached the law by involving in black money transfers will face heavy fines of double the money of the transferred not more than 10,000 Kuwait Dinars and a jail sentence of up to 5 years.

TERMINATION OF EMPLOYEE WITHOUT NOTICE AS PER SAUDI LABOR LAW

According to Saudi Labor Law Article (80), An employer may not terminate the contract without an award, advance notice or protection against a loss, except in the following cases, and provided that he gives the worker a chance to state his reasons for objecting to the termination.

1. If, during or by reason of the work, the worker assaults the employer, the manager in-charge or any of his superiors.

2. If the worker fails to perform his essential obligations arising from the work contract, or to obey legitimate orders, or if, in spite of written warnings, he deliberately fails to observe the instructions related to the safety of work and workers as may be posted by the employer in a prominent place.

3. If it is established that the worker has committed a misconduct or an act infringing on honesty or integrity.

4. If the worker deliberately commits any act or default with the intent to cause material loss to the employer, provided that the latter shall report the incident to the appropriate authorities within twenty-four hours from being aware of such occurrence.

5. If the worker resorts to forgery in order to obtain the job.

6. If the worker is hired on probation.

7. If the worker is absent without valid reason for more than twenty days in one year or for more than ten consecutive days, provided that the dismissal be preceded by a written warning from the employer to the worker if the latter is absent for ten days in the first case and for five days in the second.

8. If the worker unlawfully takes advantage of his position for personal gain.

9. If the worker discloses work- related industrial or commercial secrets.

I went to the agent office in our area, who are specialized in visas processing and i asked him about marriage certificate and Saudi attestation on it. - The agent asked about 500 rupees to make Marriage certificate from Nikah nama, He sent request to WAKF BOARD OF THE STATE, where they collected my original Nikah nama or nikah certificate and issued Marriage certificate. You can also make marriage certificate through State Government in this case both bride and bridegroom should be present while issuing.

MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE ATTESTATION :

- Once he received my marriage certificate, He sent it for attestation from HRD, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in Delhi and Saudi Embassy in Mumbai. He asked some documents for processing it.

- Adhaar or Indian identity copies of both husband and wife.

- As we already know profession change on iqamas has been stopped from last few months. I return back to my company and tell our HR department, Then they said book appointment for next day and they send one Saudi guy with me to Istiqdam office.

- Our company Saudi guy convinced them and said we want to change his iqama profession as the service is stopped we unable to do it. He is important guy in our IT section, He is newly wed, It will be good if you accept his application. Once the service of profession change open we will change his profession. - Istiqdam guy convinced with the words of our company guy and approve my application and gave me yellow paper. This way i got permanent family visa for my wife on computer operator iqama profession.
